EY India has promoted Jerin Verghese to Director – Brand, Marketing and Communications, marking a significant milestone in his long tenure with the organisation.

Sharing the update, Verghese reflected on his professional journey, describing it as one shaped by continuous evolution, new responsibilities and challenges that pushed him to grow.

With over 17 years at EY, he has built extensive experience across brand management, marketing strategy and corporate communications. During this time, he has taken on diverse roles, contributing to the firm’s positioning and outreach across multiple business lines.

Prior to this elevation, Verghese served as Associate Director, where he was responsible for leading go-to-market strategies and marketing communications for the tax practice. His role also involved managing media engagement and executing integrated marketing campaigns to strengthen visibility and stakeholder connect.

Over the years, his work has spanned media relations, crisis communication, content strategy and digital marketing, playing a key role in shaping EY India’s brand narrative and thought leadership initiatives.

In his new position, Verghese will focus on driving brand positioning and go-to-market strategy, while working closely with senior leadership to craft and amplify strategic messaging. His mandate will also include strengthening the firm’s presence in a competitive market through consistent and impactful communication.

The elevation reflects EY India’s emphasis on internal talent development and leadership continuity, especially in functions that play a critical role in brand building and market engagement.

As organisations continue to invest in stronger brand and communication strategies, leadership roles in this space are becoming increasingly central to business growth, reputation management and stakeholder trust.
