CMS Info Systems has announced a leadership transition in its human resources function, appointing Saurabh Chaudhuri as Head – Human Resources, following the retirement of Sanjay Singh.

Chaudhuri steps into the role at a time when CMS continues to operate at significant scale, with a workforce of over 27,000 employees and a presence spanning the majority of India’s districts. The company plays a critical role in enabling financial transactions, cash management, and payment infrastructure across the country.

With over 16 years of experience in HR leadership, Chaudhuri brings a strong background across organisation design, rewards, talent strategy, employee relations, and HR business partnering. His career spans both high-growth and complex organisations, where he has worked closely with leadership teams to align people strategies with business transformation and expansion goals.

Prior to joining CMS, he held senior HR roles at Godrej Consumer Products Limited, where he led global HR centres of excellence across multiple geographies, and at Udaan, where he managed HR for large business units and corporate functions in a fast-scaling digital commerce environment.

Earlier in his career, he was associated with the Aditya Birla Group, leading industrial relations and HR transformation initiatives across domestic and international operations.

At CMS, Chaudhuri is expected to focus on building leadership capability, strengthening organisational structures, and creating agile and performance-driven HR frameworks. His approach emphasises culture as a key business enabler, with a focus on clarity, accountability, and trust to drive sustainable outcomes.

The transition also marks the conclusion of Sanjay Singh’s tenure, during which he contributed to shaping the company’s HR foundation and supporting its growth journey.

As CMS continues to scale its operations and expand its role in India’s financial infrastructure ecosystem, the focus on future-ready talent, leadership depth, and organisational agility is expected to remain central to its strategy.
