Aviva India, one of the country’s prominent private life insurance companies, has announced the appointment of Harshit Agrawal as Head of Marketing, marking a strategic move aimed at strengthening the company’s marketing capabilities and brand positioning.

Agrawal brings over 16 years of experience across marketing leadership, brand strategy, and digital transformation. Throughout his career, he has worked across both the financial services sector and the advertising industry, contributing to initiatives focused on brand growth, digital innovation, and customer engagement.

Prior to joining Aviva India, Agrawal held leadership roles at Clix Capital and Muthoot Blue Group, where he was responsible for driving key marketing initiatives. During his tenure, he worked on strengthening brand visibility, promoting digital adoption, and developing strategies to build stronger connections with customers. His work helped these organisations expand their brand presence and improve customer outreach through modern marketing approaches.

Earlier in his career, Agrawal gained experience in the digital advertising space, working with agencies such as BC Web Wise and Dentsu Webchutney. In these roles, he contributed to the development of integrated marketing campaigns and digital strategies for leading brands, gaining strong exposure to brand storytelling and performance-driven marketing.

In his new role at Aviva India, Agrawal will lead the company’s overall marketing strategy, focusing on enhancing brand positioning, strengthening customer engagement, and launching innovative marketing initiatives aligned with the company’s growth ambitions. His responsibilities will also include supporting Aviva’s efforts to build a stronger and more future-focused brand.

Commenting on the appointment, Asit Rath, Managing Director and CEO of Aviva India, said the company is currently undergoing a transformation focused on building a progressive and customer-centric brand. He noted that Agrawal’s expertise in marketing and brand development will play an important role in strengthening the organisation’s marketing capabilities and supporting its long-term strategy.

Speaking about his new role, Harshit Agrawal said that Aviva India has consistently demonstrated a forward-looking approach by embracing innovation and evolving customer needs. He expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the company’s journey by developing campaigns that connect with customers, strengthen the brand, and support Aviva’s broader vision of moving beyond traditional protection toward a prevention-led approach in life insurance.
