Share The Hindu has appointed Druhi Sethi as its new Head of Digital Marketing, strengthening its digital leadership as the legacy media house focuses on audience growth, engagement and platform-led expansion. Sethi moves from the agency ecosystem into a leadership role within The Hindu’s digital function. She joins the organisation after more than three years at Social Beat, where she most recently served as Associate Vice President, Strategic Account Management. During this tenure, she led Bengaluru operations while driving pan-India strategy, client growth, AI-led initiatives and business expansion. Before this, Sethi held the role of Associate Vice President, Growth and Client Success at Social Beat. In that capacity, she managed large client portfolios, scaled internal strategy teams and delivered performance-driven marketing outcomes. Her remit included digital launches, internal product acceleration and growth frameworks across multiple sectors. Prior to Social Beat, Sethi contributed to NP Digital, where she established and scaled the social media vertical in India and collaborated with brands across healthcare, real estate, FMCG and technology. With extensive experience in digital strategy, brand and performance marketing, growth and client partnerships, Sethi’s appointment comes at an important moment for The Hindu. As legacy media organisations continue to transition toward digital-first audience models, leadership roles in growth, platforms and data-driven marketing are becoming central to content distribution and business sustainability in the modern news ecosystem.
