Myntra has appointed Kannan Ganesan as its Chief Financial Officer, effective December 1, 2025, marking a major leadership transition within the Flipkart Group. With more than 20 years of experience across consumer goods and e-commerce, Ganesan brings a wealth of expertise in business finance, operations, strategic planning, and large-scale transformation initiatives

Ganesan joined the Flipkart Group in 2020 from Unilever, where he held senior leadership roles in finance and operations. At Flipkart, he most recently served as Vice President – Business Finance, partnering with several high-impact business units including eKart, Mobiles, Large & Electronics, Travel, and Category, Marketing & Monetisation. In these roles, he was instrumental in driving financial planning, performance management, and business insights that supported strategic growth across the group. In his new role at Myntra, Ganesan will oversee the company’s entire finance function, including financial strategy, risk management, operational efficiency, and capital allocation. His leadership will be central to strengthening financial governance, enabling strategic investments, and supporting sustainable growth, as Myntra positions itself for the next phase of expansion in India’s competitive e-commerce landscape.

The transition also marks the departure of outgoing CFO Abhishek Gupta, who spent nearly four years at Myntra and seven years with the Flipkart Group. Gupta played a key role in building the company’s financial infrastructure, optimizing reporting processes, and reinforcing strategic decision-making frameworks. He will now pursue external opportunities, leaving behind a robust financial foundation for his successor.
